If the batter is mixed too much, the cupcakes will be either rock hard or not rise. And unfortunately, here is nothing you can do with un-risen cupcakes!
3. Watch the clock
ALWAYS, take the cupcakes out of the oven at the time specified in whichever reipe you are using. If they look a little ‘pale’, don’t worry, the cupcakes will still ‘cook’ as they cool, Trust the recipe!
4. keep them cool!
Place your cupcakes on a cooling rack as soon as they are our of the oven and let the air circulate around them. This is very important. The cupcake pans stay can stay hot for quite a while after baking and this can lead to over-cooked cupcakes.
5. Eat one warm
Well, we can’t resist this one – a warm cupcake is the best kind of cupcake! So as soon as your cupcakes are cooling, grab a coffee and take the time to enjoy one at it’s absolute prime; fresh from the oven. Bliss!
